Our client here is a multinational manufacturing company that is based in Indonesia and has grown rapidly to have more than 20 factories across Indonesia.
Through their subsidiaries, they are expanding their wings in specialized nutrition in the form of powdered milk products, aimed at pregnant, lactating women, and also children.
Problems That Arise and Needed to be Solved
As a brand engaged in the FMCG industry, the client continues to strive to develop public brand awareness of the products they produce.
They need a platform that can help their internal company to schedule sales visits to various parties, for example doctors and midwives, as in field force management. This visit was intended to cooperate in developing the client’s brand awareness to the Indonesian people.
How Did We Helped
The application is here to assist client’s internal team (sales) in conducting collaboration visit to doctors and midwives throughout Indonesia.
The visit mapping feature is available for scheduling visits for each client’s employee (Representative). These visits are divided into 3 types:
- 1-on-1 or face to face, where Reps meet directly with the doctor or midwife that has been determined.
- Whatsapp, Reps make visits by sending product information modules to each of the specified doctors and midwives’ Whatsapp.
- Group, where Reps pay visits to doctors and midwives at the same time.
During the visit, Reps will disseminate information related to their products to doctors and midwives. In the meantime, Reps will also record data regarding which products doctors and midwives mostly recommend to their patients. The data obtained will be recorded using the application.
Also with this application, sales visits via Whatsapp are carried out. Reps will send product-related information modules which they will disseminate to doctors and midwives via Whatsapp.
The data that has been obtained after the visit of the Representatives will then be processed internally by the client to find out what are the advantages and disadvantages of the products when compared to other products.
The Content Management System and Field Force Application Progress
Both Content Management System (CMS) and mobile applications are still in use and running well.
When the visit time mapping is done through CMS, the mobile application is used when Reps make visits to doctors and midwives. The mobile application itself was developed on iOS and can be used using an iPad.
Impacts Received by the Client
With the help of the application, client can quickly map Representative visits and facilitate the process of collecting data obtained by Reps during visits.
